Palace The

Hawa
Mahal
The
opulent "Hawa Mahal" or the "Palace
of winds" is a major landmark not only in
Jaipur but also in Rajasthan. The five-story façade,
decked with countless windows was built to enable
the women of the court to watch royal processions.

Jantar Mantar, Jaipur
Jantar Mantar is India's proud answer to the Greek observatories.
It was constructed to assist the astronomical calculations.
A total of eighteen instruments including brick curves,
slants, circles and pillars are strategically planted
in the southern courtyard of the palace complex. It
enjoys a distinct place among the tourists that come
to Jaipur especially in search of something different.
