Kota

Kota is situated on the bank of the river Chambal. It is a modern industrial area consisting many forts, palaces, temples and gardens. In early 17th century, during the reign of the Mughal Emperor Jahangir, Rao Ratan Singh, the ruler of Bundi gave a smaller part of his kingdom to his son Madho Singh. Since then Kota became a hallmark of the Rajput glamour and culture.

Chambal Garden

Chambal Garden is a beautifully landscaped garden at Amar Niwas. Its surrounded by lush greenary which makes it a popular picnic spot.

The Government Museum

This museum displays a rich collection of rare coins, manuscripts and sculpture. Some of the sculpture has brought here from Baroli.

Jag Mandir

This Mandir is built between an artificial lake of Kishore Sagar, constructed in 1346 by Prince Dher Deh of Bundi.

Haveli of Devtaji

It is a beautiful Haveli of Devta Shridharji which is located in the middle of the city. The haveli is famous for its frescoes and wall paintings.
