it is a posh industrial area in the
border of Haryana and Himachal. The
place is famous for Fruit based products,

| Renuka |
This
place is 45 km from Nahan, a popular destination
offers a wild life sanctuary and a placid
lake. According to the legend, Parashuram
oredred his son to cut off the head of his
wife Renuka. Around the Renuka lake there
is a little wildlife sanctuary offers a
variety of waterbirds, deer, red jungle
fowl, black pheasant and peacock. |

little cantonment town has a Gurkha fort
which was built in the early years of the
19th century. This town quartered the British
soldiers at the time of British Empire in

This beautiful hill-station gives

with flowers. There is a Pastur
Institute that produces the anti-rabies
vaccine against mad dog-bite and,
at the same time, treats victims
of Hydrophobia. The institute was
set up in 1900 and is the oldest

beautiful place is famous for apple
orchards and thick woods of oak
and pine. Mashobra offers a little
track which leads down to Sipur
a grassy glade with a stream . One
day excursion is possible to Shali
Peak, the highest point in the area
with its elegant guest house and
flowerfilled garden. |
