Neemrana
Neemrana is famous for it's fort and once it was
the capital of Prithviraj Chauhan. It gained popularity
when it became the capital of Prithviraj Chauhan III. Neemrana
is Rajasthan's closest palace to Delhi. The Neemrana fort
was built in 1464 by Raj Deo. This 500 years old fort has
been converted to a heritage fort hotel with furnishing
in an eclectic mixture of traditional Indian and colonial
furniture.

The place is situated on a majestic plateau of the
billion year old Aravalli ranges. |
The fort property covers
25 acres area and the stepped palaces of this architectural
jewel cut into the hillside base. The ruins of this Fort-Palace
have been sensitively restored and reconstructed.
