Ranakpur
Ranakpur is a famous pilgrimage destination and
one of the five holy places for the Jains. The temples were
built in 15th century amd made with amber stone.The finely
carved temples are the unique example of indian temple architechture.
In this huge temple one can find the best of the craftsmanship
on every inch to be viewed.

There one can find the images
of 24 tirthankaras which are carved on the mandaps or portico.The
temple has four small shrines with 80 spires supported by
420 columns.Two temples are dedicated to saints Parasvanath
and Neminath. The temple carving style is quite similar
to Khajuraho.
